Danielle Hobbs is an entrepreneur with wide-ranging experience and success, most recently co-founding the thrombectomy and embolic protection medical device company Capture Vascular, Inc. in early 2013. After raising $1.25M in a seed round, she established a design, development and manufacturing partner and assembled an experienced, multi-disciplinary team. Danielle lead the team effort to develop quality, regulatory, reimbursement and operations strategies. She raised another $1.1M in a Series A round, funding the company through initial commercialization. After achieving this major inflection point, Danielle left the company to return to consulting. Capture Vascular continues to flourish and promises to be a major player in the market.

here Ms. Hobbs started her career in the pharmaceutical sector, earning numerous sales awards before moving to medical devices to work for AngioDynamics. She continued her track record of success, setting new sales records and winning Rookie of the Year, Representative of the Year and President’s club. During these 5 years in the field as a representative and trainer, she identified an unmet need in the industry for medical writing, training and product launch solutions. Danielle decided to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor and start a consulting company to target these unmet needs. In 2005 she founded MedCentric, Inc. and grew the business over 8 years, working with numerous start-ups, private and public companies to develop training and product launch materials.

Danielle is also an accomplished medical writer, having authored hundreds of scientific documents of varying types, including journal manuscripts and abstracts, book chapters, regulatory and research-related documents, disease and drug-related educational literature, healthcare websites and training modules. She attended Ohio University on a full Division-1 Basketball scholarship, earning a degree in Physiology and Pre-Medicine. She excelled as a student athlete, and was recognized as an Academic All-American, as well as Team Captain and Most Valuable Player bingo en ligne argent reel.

Co-founded early stage medical device company with platform technology for thrombectomy and embolic protection. Raised $2.35M, successfully guiding development of the technology through human use and initial commercialization.

  • Co-founded the company in early 2013 and lead due diligence to assess the market opportunity and commercial feasibility.
  • Conceptualized the strategic direction of the company and built a business plan to execute.
  • Raised $1.25M in a Seed Round and $1.1M in a Series A Round.
  • Established a contract with a design, development and manufacturing partner to manufacture devices.
  • Assembled an experienced, multi-disciplinary team of entrepreneurs, physicians, regulatory experts, and engineers.

  • Spearheaded acquisition activities, establishing early negotiations with several potential strategic acquirers.
  • Presided over the company’s day-to-day operations, with 10 direct reports and management of all contract vendors.

  • Recruited and retained several of the world’s top Interventional Cardiologists and Radiologists as advisors and product champions.

Founded consulting firm that specializes in KOL training, medical writing and medical education development for medical device, pharma and biotech companies.

  • Started company after identifying an unmet need in the industry for medical writing, training and product launch solutions.
  • Provided solutions for companies in the Cardiology, Radiology, Oncology, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery spaces.
  • Performed needs analyses to identify areas of development and future needs for clients.
  • Formulated comprehensive launch plans, including marketing, sales and commercialization strategies.

  • Rapidly promoted to a Corporate Sales Trainer after being identified as a top sales performer.
  • Designed and led training workshops for new product launches and coached reps in the field.
  • Awards included Representative of the Quarter and Trainer of the Quarter.
